I’m extremely out of the loop with music, and I also want to play music for students in my history classes. Do any of you have suggestions for songs that deal with historical subjects that I can use?

Try “Bad Day” by REM; “We Didn’t Start the Fire” by Billy Joel; “American Pie” is always good for a smile or two…
